Where is Ballindalloch The history of Ballindalloch Ballindalloch is the home of the oldest cattle herd in the world, the famous Aberdeen Angus herd founded by Sir George Macpherson-Grant in 1860. The Rivers Spey and Avon flow through the grounds and offer excellent fishing. The Ballindalloch beat on the River Spey is one of the best known middle beats on the river and its two miles of double-bank fishing includes the famous Junction Pool. The Estate also owns six miles of excellent salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Avon. |
